Community Guidelines
The rules that ensure safe and fair exchange in our giving and bartering community.
Use of the App
- Mutual Respect: Content, language or actions that are offensive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing or that invade the privacy of other users will not be tolerated.
- Minimum Age: Only those over 18 years of age can register, donate, order or participate in barter within the app.
- Single Accounts: Each user can only have one personal account.
- Real Identity: Impersonating other people, including Waki users or administrators, is strictly prohibited.
- Commercial Use Prohibited: Waki is a space for donations and barter, not for buying and selling or commercial transactions.
Donations and Swaps
- Commitment: If you request an item, be sure to show up at the agreed time and place. Repeated absence may lead to sanctions.
- Prior Consent: Do not attempt to collect an item without prior agreement with the donor.
- Transparency: Do not use barter or donations to obtain commercial benefits. Goods received in the app cannot be resold.
- Condition of Goods: Ensure that the items you offer are in safe condition for use, clearly reporting any defects.
- Conflict Resolution: In case of disputes between users, Waki encourages users to communicate to reach amicable agreements.
Privacy and Security
- Data Protection: Do not share personal information (such as addresses or telephone numbers) without the consent of the other user.
- Trust: Do not use information provided in the app for purposes other than sharing or donation.
- Hygiene and Safety: Especially in the case of food or products for personal use, make sure that the donated items meet basic hygiene and safety standards.
Prohibited Behavior
- Fraud: Deceiving other users or providing false photos or information about the items offered.
- Recurring Non-compliance: Repeated incidents of irresponsible behavior or negative reviews may result in account restrictions or blocking.
- Interactions Outside the App's Purpose: The app should not be used for personal purposes or activities not related to donations and barter.
- Prohibited Items: Waki does not allow the donation or exchange of certain items. Uploading these items to the App may result in account restrictions or blocking.
Intellectual Property
- Brand Use: Do not use the Waki name, logos or identity without prior authorization.
- Copyright: Do not copy or distribute information or content available in the app for unauthorized purposes.
Prohibited Items
The following items cannot be donated or exchanged on Waki. Uploading these items may result in account restrictions or blocking.
- Firearms and ammunition
- Explosive and pyrotechnic materials
- Medications and pharmaceutical products
- Items of dubious origin
- Live animals
- Counterfeit or pirated products
- Articles with explicit content
- Pornographic material
- Hazardous chemicals
- Stolen or illegal items
- Tobacco and alcohol products
- Used medical or healthcare equipment
- Illegal substances
- Money, coupons or discount vouchers
- Identity documents and credit cards
- Radioactive materials
- Dangerous toys
- Open beauty products
- Used underwear
- Hacking tools
Waki reserves the right to modify these conditions of use at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes, and will be given the opportunity to review and accept the new terms before continuing to use the app.
